According to reports, Huawei has begun working on a new 12-inch MatePad tablet. Early speculation is that the business would start releasing its next generation of tablets in the second part of this year. One of them may make its debut with the flagship Pura 80.

The MatePad Pro 12.2, a new flagship tablet, was just introduced to the worldwide market by the Chinese phone manufacturer. In China, it was anticipated to make its debut alongside the Nova 14 series. However, Huawei restricted the event to a small number of devices.

But as revealed by SmartPikachu, Huawei has some new MatePad devices in the pipeline, including a 12-inch tablet, and the OEM will soon launch it in China.

According to preliminary reports, Huawei may introduce a few dynamic tablets with the Pura 80 launch. One of these is a MatePad device that measures 8.8 inches. According to leaks, the little gadget will be far better than the MatePad T8 tablet.

The MatePad Air 2024, a 12-inch tablet with a sophisticated design and gentle hues, was unveiled by Huawei last year. In addition to introducing various AI technologies to increase productivity, the gadget launched with a Cloud Clear Soft Light Screen.

The tablet is compatible with HarmonyOS PC-level software, such as the enhanced GoPaint app, Huawei Notes, and the WPS Office suite. Thanks to the Smart Celia assistant, it has improved AI capabilities in addition to an all-metal seamless design.

Huawei is now working on a new 12-inch tablet that will likely include flagship features and improvements over the model from the previous generation. The phone manufacturer may offer the next model a fresh look or incorporate some new AI features.
