The FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers, which are being contested across three periods, will determine which 20 other teams will join them.
Although February 2025 is the date of the final qualifying round, several teams have already reserved their seats.
It has been confirmed that Serbia and Lithuania will join the hosts in the Final Round following the second window. After defeating North Macedonia twice in a row, three-time champions Lithuania became the first team to advance to the main event. Meanwhile, Serbia jumped on board after crushing Denmark.
Following Turkey’s victory over Hungary, it was evident that both Italy and Turkey had advanced to the EuroBasket 2025 since Hungary, now with a record of 0–4, could not catch either of the two national teams in Group B. The defending European champions, Spain, defeated Slovenia for the second time in four days, forcing Slovakia to drop out of the running for the 2025 EuroBasket.
