IT IT Together, Samsung Electronics and KT Studio Genie will increase access to Korean content on Samsung TV Plus worldwide -

In order to offer a carefully chosen range of Genie TV Originals on Samsung TV Plus, Samsung Electronics today announced a strategic agreement with KT Studio Genie, a top Korean content studio. Through the partnership, additional Korean dramas, movies, original content, and specialized channels will be available to viewers in Korea and abroad for free, without the need for a membership.

On Samsung Smart TVs, Galaxy smartphones, Smart Monitors, and Family Hub refrigerators, users may access Samsung TV Plus, the company’s free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service, without having to register. With over 3,500 live channels and 66,000 on-demand titles worldwide, the platform provides rapid access to high-quality entertainment for a rising global audience.

Select Genie TV Originals will be made accessible to viewers outside of Korea through Samsung TV Plus as part of the deal, therefore broadening the shows’ appeal. Leading the lineup are three exceptional series: “Dear Hyeri,” a romantic drama about a news announcer who develops dissociative identity disorder and must manage the complexities of her two very different lives; “Lies Hidden in My Garden,” an exciting drama in which a series of mysterious events causes two women’s seemingly perfect lives to fall apart; and “New Recruit,” a military comedy-drama that chronicles the daily lives and struggles of a group of new army recruits.

Furthermore, a few shows, like the slice-of-life office comedy “Love Is for Suckers” and “New Recruit,” will be available on Samsung TV Plus as a special FAST offering for three months.

With its 24/7 channels in Korea, Samsung TV Plus allows customers to easily get into a show whenever they want without having to search, schedule, or keep track of episodes.

The format accommodates a range of watching patterns because episodes air in order around the clock. Fans may unwind with back-to-back chapters over the weekend, catch an episode after a hard day, or just stop in to rediscover a favorite moment. You may watch K-dramas whenever it suits your schedule with ease and flexibility.

Additionally, by curating a monthly selection of highly regarded Korean programs, the portal enhances its appeal to a global audience. Fans may lose themselves in their favorite stories at any time and from any location thanks to the monthly thoughtful highlights of great titles, including “Moon in the Day,” which is based on the popular webtoon.

Joining CJ ENM and NEW ID, KT Studio Genie contributes to the expansion of Samsung TV Plus’s K-content offerings, which include drama, movies, music, variety programs, and live events. Samsung TV Plus, which currently operates in 30 countries, is also a major global destination for Korean entertainment.
