In the 2025 season, the Audi Sport customer racing teams achieved a number of early victories throughout the globe. The Audi RS 3 LMS touring vehicle and the GT3, GT2, and GT4 variants of the Audi R8 LMS assisted the teams in winning awards in club racing and international contests.

Beginning in the southern hemisphere, three continents’ worth of persuasive teams continue to use the Audi R8 LMS in the Fanatec GT World Challenge sponsored by AWS. Australia’s season got off to a strong start in both the overall and class standings. Several racers committed errors and incurred sporting penalties at the season opening in Phillip Island, but Broc Feeney/Brad Schumacher from Kelso Electrical Team MPC won the exciting second race. The pair of privateer drivers celebrated their season-opening victory in the Audi R8 LMS by seven tenths of a second. Tim Miles and Brendon Leitch helped Dayle ITM Team MPC finish third in the opening race.

Renee Gracie, a lone driver in the OnlyFans Team MPC Audi, finished second in the Am class and won her class. Brothers James and Theo Koundouris completed the tally as the third-best Am team in both races in the Supabarn Supermarkets/Tigani Audi. FAW Audi Sport Asia Team Phantom celebrated two class wins and a podium finish in the overall rankings in Asia. In the Audi R8 LMS, the Chinese driver duo of Franky Cheng and James Yu placed third overall in the second race and took home the Silver class in both of the Sepang races.

Given that the driving tandem had just started from position 15, the podium finish is astounding. The Silver classification is currently 17 points ahead of Cheng/Yu. The Saintéloc Racing team placed third in its class in the Endurance Cup in Le Castellet, Europe. After six hours of competition in the Audi R8 LMS, Lorens Lecertua, Lucas Légeret, and Ivan Klymenko finished as the third-best Silver driver team. A number of private driver teams were thrilled to win trophies in their classes in endurance racing. At the beginning of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie season, Lithuania’s Juta Racing finished on the podium.

After the Audi R8 LMS began from pole position, the driver trio of Frank Stippler, “Selv,” and Alexey Veremenko finished in second place in the Pro-Am division. With drivers David Pogosyan, Andrei Solukovtsev, and Vasily Vladykin, Simpson Motorsport’s Continental Racing finished third in the Am class in the Mugello 12 Hours of the 24H Series. Following their move to the GT Cup Championship, PB Racing with JMH also achieved a podium finish in Great Britain. Peter Erceg/Hugo Cook finished third in the third race at the beginning of the season at Donington. In South Africa, a number of client teams also started the season strong.

Bradley Liebenberg, driving the Audi R8 LMS for Stradale Motorsport, won the opening race at the second round in Kyalami and all three races in Killarney during the inaugural weekend of Extreme Supercars Driven by Dunlop. In another Audi R8 LMS, Paul Hill finished in third place twice in Class A. Marius Jackson placed third in the one-hour race on the second weekend of the South African Endurance Series in Aldo Scribante.

LMS GT2 Audi R8

European and American podium results: An Audi customer team placed second in the Spanish Campeonato de España Resistencia. The Audi R8 LMS GT2 of the C.D. Dago team concluded the winter season in second place in the standings after Daniel Carretero and Pablo Yeregui drove it to third place in the two-hour race in Navarra. GMG Racing’s CJ Moses drove the Audi R8 LMS GT2 to second place in the GT2 class in the second round of the GT America powered by AWS.

Audi R8 LMS GT4

Grand Prix weekend victory: The first weekend of the first SRO GT Cup was dominated by the Chinese private team Harmony Racing/Harmony Winhere Racing. Chen Weian celebrated winning the Formula 1 Heineken Chinese Grand Prix’s opening race on the Shanghai circuit. The Chinese driver’s Audi R8 LMS GT4 had started fourth. He grabbed the lead and won by 0.607 seconds on the twelfth and last lap. Chen Weian had yet another outstanding performance in the second race. He was tenth going into the first lap. Ultimately, the Audi privateer driver moved up to second place, trailing the winner by only six tenths of a second.

An Audi squad also won the season opening for the GT4 European Series, which is powered by Rafa Racing Club. The Audi R8 LMS GT4 team of Robert Consani and Benjamin Lariche won the second race at Le Castellet, far ahead of forty-one competitors. In the ensuing slipstream combat on the southern French high-speed track, the Audi privateer driver duo prevailed by 0.076 seconds against a Toyota. Consani/Lariche are now second in the standings with Team Speedcar. Third place in the amateur classification in the first race was another podium finish from their compatriots Julien Ripert and Philippe Thalamy.

Additionally, a victory in the Monochrome GT4 Australia kicked off the season. The Audi R8 LMS GT4 from Purdie Racing, driven by Blake Purdie and Daniel Price, finished second in the inaugural race held on Phillip Island. The driver team defeated 27 other competitors to win the second round of the fiercely competitive series. At the beginning of the season, Tobias Erdmann and Bernd Schaible had a string of victories in German club racing. The private drivers in Oschersleben won two classes and three overall in the Norddeutscher ADAC Tourenwagen Cup NATC.

Erdmann and Schaible won three additional class victories in the Audi R8 LMS GT4 at the beginning of the DMV Super Touring and GT Cup at Hockenheim, which took place across two sprints and a two-hour race.

Audi RS 3 LMS (TCR)

A decade of TCR: Promoter WSC arranged a TCR competition in Malaysia for the first time in the 2015 season. Since then, this type of touring automobile has become well-known in many nations around the world. The success of TCR touring cars has been continuously and significantly influenced by Audi Sport customer racing and its client teams. The Audi RS 3 LMS has been and continues to be a very popular vehicle in the industry for the past two generations. With 1,824 podium finishes in ten years, the Audi teams enjoy a 78 percent success record in 2,337 races throughout the globe. 658 times, or 28 percent, the top teams reached the finish line as victors. The compact touring car’s record is completed with 150 global title titles, four TCR Model of the Year category victories, two FIA Motorsport Games gold medals, and at least eight class victories in international 24-hour races.

At the TCR European Endurance season start in Mugello, Italian Audi customer teams won 1-2. In an Audi RS 3 LMS from PMA Motorsport, Franco Girolami and Sandro Pelatti won. Following nearly two hours of driving and an exciting battle in the final phase with a gap of just 3.6 seconds, BF Motorsport’s Alessandro Alcidi/Yuri Brigliadori came in second. The Audi driven by Sinan Çiftçi and Ibrahim Okyay, a Turkish driver duo from Texaco Team AMS, won the Gen1 category for older vehicles.

Tuder Racing’s Audi RS 3 LMS, driven by Emilio Damante and Eduardo Maccari, placed second in the DSG division for racing vehicles with dual-clutch gearboxes. At Vallelunga, the Coppa Italia Turismo, an Italian club racing series, got off to a spectacular start. In the first sprint, Ramazan Kaya of BF Motorsport’s Audi RS 3 LMS finished in second place. In the second race, Adriano Visdomini from Next Motorsport finished second ahead of Koray Kamiloglu from the Erven Madem H2K Racing Team. In the DSG division, the Audi RS 3 LMS earned two one-two-three wins with Giacomo Orioli, Davide Nardilli, and Sebastian Gavazza in the first battle and Gavazza ahead of Kamil Cat and Tiziano Bergamasco in the second sprint. Aditis Racing is the customer team in the TCR Eastern Europe.

Aditis Racing, a customer team, brought back three trophies from the Red Bull Ring in the TCR Eastern Europe. Martin Kadlečik lost the first sprint to Bartosz Groszek, who finished in second place. Customer racing for Audi Sport
