Over 300 highly invited guests said’marhaba’ to the new Lamborghini super sports vehicle at an exclusive premiere event. Senior Lamborghini management representatives were on hand to greet clients from the UAE and the wider GCC region, and guests were able to explore the two Temerario variants as well as the technological and performance innovations that distinguish it as ‘fuoriclasse’: outstanding, in a class of its own. Automobili Lamborghini leaders, including President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann, formally revealed the company’s latest hybrid vehicle.
“Lamborghini is an iconic and globally-admired marque, known for its innovation, performance and unmistakable design,”. “The Middle East is a key region for us, and it is a privilege to debut the Temerario here in Dubai, a city that embodies bold ambition and progress. This moment reaffirms our commitment to delivering unparalleled experiences to our discerning clients and enthusiasts worldwide.” in words of Stephan Winkelmann.
The Temerario, equipped with a twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain that redefines the very concepts of performance, driving pleasure, and comfort, is the second model in the Lamborghini High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) range to enter the Middle East market after the Revuelto and completes the hybridization of Sant’Agata Bolognese’s line-up following the market debut of the Urus SE.
Because of its class-leading performance, the Temerario has established itself as the new benchmark in the super sports car market. The new hybrid powertrain combines an all-new twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors to produce 920 CV. The twin-turbo V8 was created and built from the ground up in Sant’Agata Bolognese, and it is the first and only production super sports car engine capable of exceeding 10,000 rpm. The performance is astounding: a top speed of almost 340 km/h (210+ mph), and 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in under 2.7 seconds.
After seeing the new Lamborghini Temerario’s clean-sheet design for the first time, guests were able to explore some displays of the virtually infinite personalisation options available through Lamborghini’s Ad Personam program, which included more than 400 exterior colours, complementary interiors, and other special trim options explained by the specialists on hand at the event.
The car is not yet for sale and hence is not subject to Directive 1999/94/EC. The fuel economy and emissions statistics are now being reviewed for type certification.
Revuelto has combined fuel consumption of 10.3 l/100 km (WLTP), power consumption of 78.1 kWh/100 km (WLTP), and CO₂ emissions of 276 g/km (WLTP).
Urus SE’s consumption and emission values: The combined fuel consumption is 2.08 liters per 100 kilometers. Total energy consumption: 39.5 kWh per 100 kilometers. Total CO₂ emissions: 51.25 g/km. Efficiency class for combined CO₂ emissions is B. The combined fuel consumption with a depleted battery is 12.9 l/100 kilometers. CO₂ Efficiency Class with Low Battery: G (WLTP)
